There are a variety of ways you can donate to the Lighthouse.
Donate Securities:
There are two ways to make a donation of securities to the Lighthouse Foundation:
- By an electronic transfer via DTC from your brokerage account.
- By physical delivery
1. ELECTRONIC TRANSFER VIA DTC
You are able to transfer securities held in your brokerage account to the Lighthouse Foundation electronically. This is a simple and efficient process. To make a gift to the Lighthouse electronically, provide your brokerage firm with a signed correspondence (by all owners registered on the brokerage account) stating the following: Please transfer the securities listed below held in my account #______________to the Lighthouse Foundation’s account #4DA-035557 at Hunter Associates (PERSH1NG) using the following information:
- Name of Security
- Number of Shares
- PERSHING LLC
- DTC# 0443
- For Further Credit: The Lighthouse Foundation
- A/C#: 4DA-035557

(412) 765-8923 to inform him that a gift to the Lighthouse Foundation has been
authorized and will be arriving electronically via DTC and to provide the name,
address and phone number of the person donating the stock.
2) PHYSICAL DELIVERY
If you have physical possession of a security such as a stock or bond certificate, you may
deliver them in person to our office or to us by registered mail. If the certificates are
registered in your name, you will need to provide an Irrevocable Stock/Bond Power form
along with the certificate.
