The purpose of The Lighthouse is…
- To help fulfill the needs of THE PEOPLE in the community.
- To provide programs and activities where LOVE IS SHARED, MISSION FINDS MEANING, HURTS ARE HEALED, and NEEDS ARE MET: the needy receive and those who need to be needed find fulfillment.
- To GIVE HELP for material concerns, to OFFER FRIENDSHIP, and to share THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST.

No matter who makes up your family– one parent or two… one child or ten… young or old… Christian or not… The Lighthouse welcomes you with a loving heart.
Are you a member of a family, whether related through blood or through circumstance, who desires simply the best for your family members? The Lighthouse is a place where you can see with your own eyes as those you love most are given a chance to live happy fulfilling life.
Whether through empowerment to pick yourself up and learn a skill or through benefiting from the extra resources The Lighthouse can provide, you and your family can find hope through The Lighthouse.

The Lighthouse won’t overlook you. Please contact us for more information about our transitional housing program for youth and single parents, as well as the many services we offer to anyone in need.
You’re not a Christian?
That’s okay. At The Lighthouse, we want you to walk through our doors and experience the rush of God’s love pouring over you, no matter what kind of background you come from.
We see it everyday. A discouraged middle-aged woman walks through our doors carrying a child on each of her hips, with two more at her feet. Her smile is faded and dark circles surround her eyes from a lack of sleep. She feels she has no place to turn. We want to be her beacon of hope. We want to be your beacon of hope!
Even if you’re not so sure, we know that when you come here, it’s God’s hands that are comforting you, feeding you, providing for you, empowering you. Please don’t be ashamed to ask us questions about what it means to be a Christian or where you can go from here. We are enthusiastic about sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ!
A full two-weeks’ worth of groceries? In one trip? At no cost? Yes, it’s possible.
At The Lighthouse, we understand your position. Retired? Disabled? Unemployed for another reason? We can help trim your food expenses. Every Thursday, our unique building converts into a full-service grocery store complete with meats, dairy, fruits, and vegetables.
Want to give back in exchange for what you’re receiving? We have a job for you! Don’t have the time or resources to do so? That’s ok, we still want to help you out!
